DigLT

The Fraunhofer IOSB digital map table is a software system for distributed position visualization and position processing. Any number of users can work independently on PCs and tablets or together on large displays in the same position.

The underlying software system has a modular design. It can be customized and expanded according to requirements, thus covering a wide range of applications, from training systems and pure situation visualization to preparation and live operations tracking. A wide variety of data sources and geodata can be integrated so that, depending on the application, all the information crucial for assessing the situation and acting correctly is available.

ELD-BS

Quick action is essential in the event of a crisis or disaster. Smooth communication and secure and fast exchange of information and data is vital for authorities and ministries to make quick and sound decisions. Fraunhofer IOSB has developed the Electronic Situation Display for Civil Protection (ELD-BS) to meet this requirement.

The ELD-BS has been used for years by authorities in Baden-Württemberg for staff work and crisis management and is continuously being developed further together with the Ministry of the Interior in Stuttgart. Most recently, a module for central evacuation and shelter management (ZEUS) went into operation. The ELD-BS is based on WebGenesis®, a framework for web-based information systems also developed by Fraunhofer IOSB.
